Simple vegetarian/vegan recipes ?

Something a teen can make.


I need to convince my parents that I'll be able to feed myself when I come out as a vegetarian. (ahah, I know what it sounds like, but just look past that.)Simple vegetarian/vegan recipes ?
Make your own hummus! All you need is the ingredients and a blender or food processor. See, no cooking involved!

Chop up the following:


1 lb firm tofu


1 bell pepper (any color, but I like red)


1 medium yellow onion





Saute all of the above in a bit of oil over medium-high heat until the veggies are done. Add 1 can Manwich sauce (it's vegan) and serve on vegan bread (check the labels--about half the breads in the store are vegan). If you don't like tofu, you can use TVP ';burger'; crumbles or cooked beans.





Also think of all the foods you eat that are vegan already, like oatmeal, cold cereal (use soy milk), PB%26amp;J's, spaghetti with tomato sauce...
