For Meat eaters -What's a good Vegetarian recipe?

I'm making mothers day dinner for my parents %26amp; my fiance's parents.

What's a good vegetarian meal that will leave the carnivores at the table feeling satisfied?

Veggie bacon bits? Ooh that just's wrong, if you want bacon, eat bacon or just skip it. i'd be afraid of whatever chems are in it to make it taste ';bacony'; Report Abuse

Go for something with lots of beans and grains. When I'm cooking for my family, I like to make this Mexican soup with a few types of beans, corn, and rice. It's really good, and it even fills up my 6'6'; father :)

Look around on www.vegetariantimes.com, they have some great stuff to fill up meat eaters :)
Well, it's easy to make a hearty, meat-free pasta sauce. I'd be tempted to make a lasagna. At our house, at least, it's a bit of a splurge meal, since it does take some time %26amp; effort to make. And most folks wouldn't even realize there wasn't meat in it, especially if you load it up with lots of veggies. Mushrooms, zucchini, spinach, onions...yum!
Honestly, as a main dish there's not a whole lot that really fills me up. I like grilled cheese sandwiches and I also like pasta without meat, but I don't feel full unless something has at least a little meat in it.
